Received the first draft of the filmed scenarios.
The product really comes to life with them in it.
Certainly coming together now. Activities, Tasks, Quizzes and Videos have started to come together(still gaps to fill).

First Looks (and more work)

Discovery of additional material required
- Need to look at difficulties between agencies
- Difference of views between services
- Examples of things might go wrong
- Difficulties experienced
- Falling through the cracks
- Practitioner viewpoint
- Come up with some from MH side
- Include something on supervision, client negotiation, confidentiality and limitations.
- Highlight in resource individual's at different stages for different substances.
- Any substance can be problematic for good mental health.

Time flys
We have now had several meeting and uncountable email correspondence.
To date we have now agreed on the key points for inclusion.
Developed some ideas on tasks, activities and quizzes.
Commenced all the 8 scripts, not complete as yet though we have booked the filming in so they are now a priority to get completed, reviewed and accepted by the group.
Commenced looking at assessment for the product.

The Participants
Having this project cross departments in Queensland Health (Mental Health & Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Services) and having two external bodies assisting in the project requires scheduling, plan and obviously good luck.
We have managed to organise the reference group and scheduled meetings for the rest of the year. Now it's just a matter of everyone attending. :)

The Plan
Towards the end of 2010 Queensland Health will release the Queensland Health Dual Diagnosis Clinical Guidelines that is a comprehensive resource for use by Mental Health and Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Services Clinicians.
